His promise was that they would take the elixirs, but little did he know that
his apprentice stole them. Chang'E swallowed the pills and floated off to the
moon.
Houyi missed Chang'E so much that he made her famous
mooncakes every Mid-Autumn Harvest. He was hoping that she was waiting for him
to join her in the afterlife.
